Kurzzusammenfassung

Modern extended reality technologies (AR, VR, MR) offer great potential for industrial use – especially in areas such as process planning, simulation, and training.

The project investigates how these technologies can be used in human-robot collaboration to develop realistic and immersive systems. A key aspect is the use of virtual digital twins to enable high-quality, realistic, and location- and time-independent employee training.

The goal is not only to increase the efficiency of knowledge transfer but also to make a sustainable contribution to improving safety, process understanding, and operational competence in human-robot collaboration.
